The research and mediation project GameChanger explored contemporary mindsets and cultures of self-organization and work in the cultural field. In the frame of three two-month artist residencies, small transdisciplinary teams examined alternative economic and governance models for the art commons. The results of this collective artistic research was presented in public art projects that addressed both individuals active in the art and culture scene, as well as the general public, who are active stakeholders in this cultural economy.
GameChanger was a collaboration between the Curatorial Collective for Public Art and SUPERMARKT Berlin, funded by HauptstadtKulturFonds. Cooperation partners were Haus der Statistik, /rosa by panke.gallery, Video Art at Midnight, Babylon Berlin and Trust.
